Brady has programmed the new label cartridge to make it incompatible with the tls2200. save the empty ptl-11-498 label cartridge and put the new m6-11-498 labels on it. this will work for multiple sizes if you save the empty cartridge. the labels are the same size. It will buy you some time before having to purchase a new printer

I bought some more labels (AT OVER $60/roll, by the way) for my trusty TLS-2200 and BMP61 printers, as I've been doing for years. I ordered the same exact part number as I've always ordered - PTL-11-498. I received boxes that looked like the ones I'm used to, except they have a warning on them stating "ALERT! ALERT! Not compatible with TLS2200". Interesting. I open it up, there's another warning inside telling me to buy a new printer (I actually have a BMP61 as well). Seriously??? There is NO reason for Brady to do this except that they are trying to put their greedy hands in our pockets further. I mean, $60+/roll is almost highway robbery anyway, but now they are "locking them out" purposefully to make me buy a new printer? Unfortunately, Amazon would not let me put how I really feel about that...We have many Brady printers for doing wire labeling in our manufacturing facilities. We're *never* going to buy a Brady printer again. When is my BMP61 going to be deprecated? I would completely understand if they just stopped making the labels for an old printer- I GET IT. BUT- these are the EXACT SAME LABELS that fit the BMP61 (a reason we went to the BMP61, actually!) they are just software-locked out to prevent use on the TLS2200 to try to get people to buy newer printers. Pound sand, Brady.NEVER AGAIN.

Perfectly acceptable labels. When used with Brady's TLS PC link printer, a label is printed blank every time you load the roll.
