Will not cut braid as several others have reported. I had hoped they would have improved it but they have not.

This is the first review I have written. I’m writing it so people can know how the clippers work. I was excited to purchase these. When I receive them, I immediately open the package and tried cutting my brand new 8 pound fishing line. Neither of the clippers would cut the braided line, no matter how hard I pushed, and no matter how I placed the line, center or to either side of the clippers. Would not recommend purchasing these To cut braided line.

Open the package and tried to cut breaded fishing line. Fail. Tried to cut a finger nail. Fail. There now in the garbage can where they belong.
