Although my family was thrilled to try this coffee for its brain and boosting benefits, the curious acerbic flavor was something that was something difficult to power through. It only was enjoyable after dilution with added flavorings and oatmilk.Although I am accustomed to the bitterness or acerbic taste of natural herbal medicines, the flavor of this coffee was entirely something different. The sour flavor almost entirely obscured any fragrant notes within the brew, rednering it difficult to even taste the coffee. The flavor lingered as well, causing my mouth to taste awful while making my breath atrocious to my coworkers. It was difficult to rinse away with water and required mouthwash.Despite alteration with vanilla syrup and oatmilk for my second bottle, the strange taste endured and remained difficult to cancel out even with a 50/50 mix with oatmilk. I needed to add more than what was deemed healthy in syrup to cancel the flavor, subsequently adding more sugar than I needed to render the drink remotely palatable. The health boosts within the drink are not worth the stomaching of the acrid taste, and family members to whom I tried to offer my last two bottles didn't like it and ended up tossing them despite trying to blend out the awful taste on their own.Perhaps this drink may appeal to some who like a very 'robust' or intriguing taste to their coffee, but unfortunately this wasn't for me and my wife.

I drink coffee almost everyday. I like a variety of coffee drinks, both hot and cold. I like lattes with oat or almond milk. I like chocolate. This drink should be a hit with me, but sadly it is not.To give this a fair shake, and with the thought that it was an acquired taste, I drank about half of it before deciding I truly hated the taste. I stopped when my stomach started to hurt. This is one of the worst tasting canned coffee drinks I have ever tried. It has a nasty sour taste that overpowers any other taste that may be in there. I don't taste coffee, mocha, or oatmilk. And there is also a sweetener in there that is making the sour taste even worse instead of better. The the aftertaste lingers and lingers. I needed to eat something else to make it go away. The best I can say about this product is the can is nice. Maybe invest more in the flavor and use a cheaper can!

I can't get into this. I wanted to but I'm not a fan. I'm picky about my coffee and tried the mocha latte as a healthier alternative to my morning brew but this isn't going to make the rotation. No clue if it works or not because I couldn't finish it.

Having a French mum, lived and visited various locations around the world, I have a very diverse palette. There is rarely a time I will not taste and enjoy something out of the norm and even if I am not crazy about it, I make an effort to finish it. I very rarely waste food/drink items. I really dislike tossing anything unless just rotten, bad smelling or past the expiration (depending on the food). Be it modifying the comsumable to become more palatable, I usually figure out a way.Alas, these coffees defeat me and I can not drink them. The flavor is just awful and bitter. The sediment lurking inside does not bother me, but one sip and I had enough. I tried adding milk, flavored creamer, sugar, honey, chocolate powder.... Nothing helps.I really wanted to like these but I have to be honest and admit defeat. I wanted to give them to my husband... maybe some of his coworkers would like it?? But knew that was wrong and that if anything they would retaliate and wonder why in the heck he was offering such foul offerings to them.I have to question how and why: How did someone create this and think it was a good idea, and why did people sample this and think the masses would find this tasty while spending hard earned $ on these? Was everyone working there in quality control not honest? In my mind it shouldn't be too hard to know if something tastes good and is marketable, but then again I'm just a smidgen of a consumer.I do like the bottles so good job there. But to be 100% honest, even if I bought these from the dollar store I'd be disgruntled and still wonder how this was approved.I am half tempted to believe this was an inside job and someone with a vendetta wanted this drink to go titties up from the get go. Would make a good novel.

This is an interesting flavor. It's not at all like a bottled mocha coffee. It has a weird aftertaste to it which isn't the peppermint or mocha. I like the flavor after a while and it does require to be refrigerated or over ice to be enjoyed. I love the ingredients but feel like it could have some tweaking when it comes to the aftertaste. I do enjoy this after a while but it does take some getting used to. The ingredients are good, but there is a bit of getting used to period. Don't expect it to be like a starbucks or sugary type iced mocha. It is packed with good ingredients but takes a bit to get to get used to. I have tried their original iced coffee and this one is the best one out of the bunch. Overall, takes some getting used to, and I like this one out of all of the flavors.

I was excited to try these new Brainjava Peppermint Mocha Latte drinks, especially since they are made by a company in Austin, Texas. I am sure these drinks are very healthy considering all of the vitamins they contain, and I could tell that they gave me an energy boost. But they don't taste like a mochoa latte or any kind of latte I have ever had before. The taste is very strange to me. They taste almost like some peppermint flavored medicine. I really can't describe it, but if I drank one of these in a blind taste test and somebody asked me what it was, a coffee-based drink would not be one of my guesses. I will finish this 4-pack because I don't like to waste food, but I will definitely not be ordering these again.
