Instructions for use:

You can retract and adjust the distance between two steel plates by swinging the handle, and achieve positive and negative adjustment by turning the directional switch in the ratchet. Keep the caliper piston compressor tool in the center. Due to the ratchet mechanism, both deployment plates require pressure to activate the ratchet until the appropriate size is inserted into the caliper, and then continue.

  • Align both sides of the expansion plate with the piston. Due to the ratchet structure, the two expansion plates require pressure to activate the ratchet. To force both sides of the expansion plate simultaneously, please squeeze them during the first few swings until they are inserted into the appropriate position of the caliper. Finally, adjust the switch and continue to swing. If the caliper is damaged or the piston is displaced, make sure to evenly distribute the force on the caliper piston.
  • If the piston does not retract, please check if there are any obstacles or damage to the caliper and piston. Ensure that the brake caliper press is aligned correctly and apply even pressure. If the problem persists, professional inspection may be necessary

This tool was a tremendous help when changing my brakes recently.I have always used clamps on the pistons, but this tool made the job so much easier, saving me time, and a lot of frustration.I think this is a well built tool, especially for the price, and would be a good addition to any do it yourself mechanic's toolbox.

This works great. I should have bought 1 years ago.. Magnets could be a little stronger.

It's a little bit cheaply built, but it does the job. It comes with a larger set of caliper pads that magnet onto the smaller ones. It also has some metal s-hooks that let you hang the calipers up out of the way while you work.I like them!

This tool works great on most calipers with interchangeable pads for multiple different sized calipers. The hooks work great for hanging the caliper out of the way without putting stress on the brake hose or line.
