Brake hose kit for the Honda CB450/CB500 and CB550 models from the 70's. This kit fits the stock handlebars (approx. 3 - 4.5" rise) for the models listed below. We recommend measuring your upper line to be sure it will reach your bars, it is common to have non stock handlebars.
If your brake lines are original they should probably be replaced..... It's one of those things you've been meaning to do, now's your chance!
Note: The lower hose in this kit is 1.5" longer than the original hose on some model years. It can work on the 1977-1978 CB550K but measure your upper hose length first.
Kit Contains:
Upper Brake Hose - 15.5" - Connects between the master cylinder and the 3 way joint under the headlight (the joint with the brake switch on it).
Lower Brake Hose - 14.5" - (threading 10mm x 1.25mm) Connects between the 3 way joint under the headlight and the metal hose that attaches to the front brake caliper.
Brake Pipe - Hard-line that connects between the lower brake hose and the front brake caliper.
Replaces Honda Part Numbers: 45126-300-003 (upper), 45125-300-003, 445125-379-003, 45125-390-003 (lower), 45128-323-020 (brake pipe)

CB500K - 1971-1973
CB500T - 1975-1976
CB550F Super Sport - 1975-1977
CB550K - 1974-1976
CB550K - 1977-1978 (With slightly lower handlebars - check upper hose length)

The parts didn’t exactly fit, but I was able to modify them enough so I could use them. The parts are for a 1972 Honda motorcycle so I’m not complaining, I’m just glad we worked something out. Actually I should probably give them 5 stars. The price was certainly more than fair.

Hose to hard line on caliper wrong thread had to use other honda OEM line to use. Will not be ordering from that supplier again

The only down side is the metal end pieces are painted black, where the OEM had metal finish. They fit well, appear to be made well

Fit was very good but finish was black instead of natural like NOS. Still worked as expected.
