This cap fit my 2009 Subaru Legacy GT and looks nicer than the dirty OEM cap.After closer inspection, there are obvious differences from the OEM cap. Chinese characters vs. Japanese, DOT 4 vs. DOT 3 (they are compatible brake fluids and DOT 4 performs better under higher temperatures), the depth is shallower on this one vs. OEM, and the OEM version has vertical slots to lock onto the threads of the reservoir.4/5 for not being identical to the OEM cap, but it seems to be performing fine.

As you can see from the before photo of the brake fluid cap, it was in bad shape. I was able to put the new one on with ease and it's nice to know that it's getting a clean start.
