The nuts from the Subaru switch do not fit this switch. So unless you get different nuts, or modify it some other way, you can't mount it.

Was having issues in my Subaru pertaining to this lamp. Ordered and installed and fixed it myself, found out later that my vehicle had a recall open for this exact switch. Dealership swapped it out with an OEM switch, but this fixed the issue entirely in the meantime!
