We recently rescued an older dog who previously had his own doggie door. Unfortunately our house isn’t set up correctly to be able to install a doggie door, so we are in the process of house training him which is proving a bit challenging. He knows where to go outside, but sometimes doesn’t know how to tell us he needs to go out. Now we have a bell hanging off of a string ties around each door knob that goes outside. When he needs to go out, he simply goes to the door and nudges the bell with his nose. The sound is loud enough to hear, but not annoyingly loud. The tone of the bell is also very pleasant - not a clanging sound like some bells make. These bells would also be great for a variety of uses such as decorations, wreaths, ornaments, etc.

These are beautiful little bells that have a lovely clear ring to them. There a good size for hanging from the collar of a goat or large dog.

Terrible tone and very soft muffled sound. The clapper is cheaper than the actual bell. I would not but this again.
