I have been using the cable that came with the device, but that had two main problems: the female connectors would loosen with repeated use, and finding the connecter that I wanted in the thicket of ends was often a pain.This adapter solves both those problems. I just press it into the end of my breadboard and use my exiting jumpers to connect the pins I want.The only problem I encountered was that it does not come with an appropriate ribbon cable to attach to the Analog Discovery itself. The 30 pin cable that Amazon sells has female connectors on both ends, and while I could adapt it easily enough that left the pins swapped to the opposite side of the adapter that they were labeled. I solved this by getting a male-to-female connection from DigiKey. (Part # A3CKB-3018G). Now all is well.
