The Breeze 4006 Make-a-Clamp kit includes 1/2" wide stainless steel band and band splices to create clamps that meet the needs of applications such as securing, mounting, strapping, clamping, and positioning. This kit provides the splices for clamps of 2" diameter and greater. The 1/2" wide band splices lock into the band to form a concentric circle and maintain a uniform seal, and are made of stainless steel for resistance to corrosion. This Breeze 4006 hose clamp kit is suitable for use in creating a non-standard size hose clamp, such as for manufacturing plant maintenance.
Hose clamps attach tubing and hoses to fittings to prevent flow leakage, or are used for hose or wire mounting applications. They come in a variety of designs to distribute uniform pressure over the circumference of hoses to bind them to fittings. Other hose clamp types are used for mounting, strapping, clamping, and positioning hose or wire. Any size thing you need a strong band for, this kit works! You need to purchase the screw kit separately for it to work, but with both, you can cinch almost anything. I used it on a 20 liter oak barrel that was beginning to leak, despite soaking it for two days as directed. Three bands later, I've got about 25 bottles worth of red wine aging that I can't wait to taste!

I bought the 8ft kit to see if this worked for what I needed it for before I invested in the 50 ft kit. The 8ft kit was perfect - had the strap, the splices and the fasteners. So I bought the 50ft kit - same name, same company, same strap and splices, but no fasteners. It's not possible to use this product without fasteners - all you have is a 50ft band that cannot be attached to anything. What on earth is the point of selling 2 pieces of a product that requires 3 pieces to function, especially when you then also label it as a "kit"? Now I have to spend another $25+ just to be able to use this product. Oh wait -- i think I have my answer as to why they don't sell everything together. Easy way for them to make extra $$ on each person's purchase. :(

Great value for money. I have used the product to make cedar plant barrels and above ground vegetable garden containers.

probably works fine but it was advertised as a kit and i mistakenly asssumed that it included the screw tensioners to actually make te clamp, Not! i FEEL THE LABELING IS VERY DECEPTIVE
