It did it's job and looked cute doing it! It looks like it's made out of copper. If I had a complaint, it would be that I think the scoop would be better if it was slightly shorter, but it's not that big of a deal. It kept my ice frozen for hours...as long as the party lasted, which was probably close to 5 hours with no problem at all, and that is a good thing!

Poor handle shape design causes edge of handle to rub against side of bucket causing finish to rub off.Re purchased and the second bucket had the same issue.

This is a very cute looking bucket. Love the look. But the bronze straight out the box is already rubbed off in several areas due to the handle. From what I can tell, when you move the handle it rubs the side- so a disappointing design. Also, the lid has a great seal rim that my guess would allow for ice to last for a long time. But it makes the lid tight so I had to use both hands, one holding the bucket and one the lid. With guests using the bucket, I’d hate for folks to have to learn how to use it and end up having to put their cup down to figure out how to get the lid off or pull too hard and ice go everywhere. UPDATE: the lid seal is removable so when guests come over I could take it off.I have the bigger version so I was so excited about a matching set! Too bad about the handle.
