This Brennan adapter is a stainless steel 316 pipe fitting with male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and female National Pipe Straight (NPS) threads on the other end for connecting two pipes with different connections. The adapter has a hexagonal shape for increased leverage and use with a wrench during installation and disassembly. It is made from stainless steel 316 for resistance to chloride corrosion and greater corrosion resistance than stainless steel 304. This fitting meets SAE J514 specifications for quality assurance.

Despite researching for hours this fitting didn't mate with my part. Not the fault of the seller, rather the manufactures description of my part. Quality and finish of the part looked great.
