This looked like a great line tender tool for cement blocks. This is going to be good.Well, I assumed it would accommodate cement blocks up to 8 inches. I didn't see any width dimensions and in a hurry, made the mistake of thinking. As labeled, this is for Brick and it looks like a hell of a great tool if you are working brick. I like the spring-loaded action although the jaws open less than 6 inches, it may work fine on a 4-inch cement block, which is what I need for my next project.I am rating this plastic line tender as a 5-star product because of its sensible design, its quick adaptation to brick courses, and overall, a very handy aid for laying bricks.

These clamps are marketed for bricks, but I actually use them for helping align countertops for my stone restoration company. They ensure each side of the counter at a seam are aligned. The clamps hold securely and provide a flush surface.
