Until recently I didn’t realize that Bridgestone Excedra G547/548 tires are still available. They where developed by Bridgestone and Honda together specifically for the ST1100. They actually have a Honda part number and are listed in the original 1991 owners manual as OEM.

I replaced the same tire on my '93 ST1100. The one I replaced was 9 years oldand still handled very well. This is the factory recommended tire for this Honda.I am very happy with this tire.

This is the OEM front tire for my Honda ST1100. It makes the bike handle like it was designed to and lasts around 10,000 miles. I have tried many different tires on this bike and find this to be my favorite.

great tire,good tire wear and excellent traction, haven't run wet weather yet,they do look good for rain though tread pattern wise,dot#showed just manufactured about 6mos prior to purchase ,so not an old tire.
