Easy to install by yourself. Hope it lasts as long as my first one which I had for around 8 years. I would recommend you change your muffler gasket at the same time if it appears to be worn. Strongly recommended purchase.

The muffler is the exact one from my Poulan Pro snowblower, but the accompanying bolts are too big and the pre-drilled holes too small, so keep your old hardware. Overall it works great.

Keep your existing screws because the new ones that come with the muffler do match the threads on the cylinder head.Also do not go for the suggested things to buy like the muffler gasket, it comes with one.I got shafted for 5 dollars because I can't return it.Finally I had to use a tap the holes for the plastic housing because they we're also the wrong threads for my existing screws.

I needed a part OEM Toro part #594226 - but this did fit with some DIY bolts/screws. I believe there was a previous buyer that did the same thing I did. and yes, "worked like a charm" and Not $95. at a Toro Dealer.

The part came kitted with gasket and bolts (but not in the description). The bolts are too big for my snow blower and the old ones were salvageable.

GASKET INCLUDED - DO NOT FALL FOR ORDERING THE GASKET SEPARATELYThe genuine part is exactly as the original I needed to replace.EXCEPTION: a few screw holes for the shrouds were not the same size, so either drill and tap as needed or use a self tapping screw.)Genuine B&S part in a genuine B&S box including in a stapled genuine B&S Envelope with the part a gasket and new mounting bolts........... the bolts were NOT the same size as my original bolts and could not use them.This part was installed on TORO Snowblower 826 OXE, Model# 38624W. Briggs model # 15C04The original muff had metal fatigued and fell apart..... melting some of the shrouding.This is the current exact replacement, however a few screw holes were not the same size (smaller) as my original piece, really not a big deal. Might as well clean your carb while its apart :)
