Had to put an oil pressure light switch on my new 18 hp B&S Vanguard engine repowering my old John Deere 316 garden tractor. This switch was the one I needed, fit easily in the space available, same threads and the single connection wired to the tractor's harness now operates the low oil pressure light exactly as the OEM unit did.

New, normally closed pressure switch in original equipment packaging. Wanted to retrofit to my garden tractor which didn't have any low oil pressure warning, but, after setting up an led in the dash and running wiring, I discovered that the soft pipe plug B&S used in the switch port wouldn't come out, even with a flame wrench. In the future, I'll have to try cutting it off and using an easy-out or some such.

This switch worked fine as a replacement for a switch on a Generac brand generator. I had to modify the contact to allow connection to ring type terminals. My generator works fine now. How LONG it will last remains to be seen.
