I really liked the little built in "catch" that keeps the spring compressed. Whoever thought of that deservesa medal ! Very easy to install on my 10hp B&S powered riding mower. Perfect fit and function, like new again ! Would buy again if needed, good value.

I found the easiest way to tighten the coil to fit in the housing was to use the housing to enclose the outer loop then wind up inside.

Expensive for what you get. Installed on B&S that came on a Snapper and the inner hook was the opposite from the spring that was removed, so had to reverse the bend for it to hook to the spindle. Otherwise, easy install.

Sometimes these rewind springs just wear out and snap. This replacement went right on and works perfectly. (And it's cheaper here than the local mower shop said they could get it from their supplier. They said they might start buying them from Amazon because I got it cheaper and faster than the parts place they use.)
