I have twice bought these glassine sheets. I use them to protect art prints stacked on one another. They do the job well enough, although they crease easily. Chief complaint is that the cellophane packaging is so flimsy that it is impossible to keep it to store the sheets. I had to buy a 1" x 9" x 12" storage box to hold them.

I have some vintage onion skin, purchased from an estate sale. I guard it with my life and use sparingly.I’ve been in search of a product I can be less precious about and experiment with. This is a thin glassine paper, not onion-skin as the description advertises. About 1/3 of the sheets came creased on edges, likely due to the shifting of the paper during shipping. It has a plasticky feel to it.I don’t like writing or calligraphy on this paper, ink pools and some inks feather. It doesn’t take to blotting well, it takes a while for ink to dry (minutes, not seconds). I don’t see it drastically improving shade or sheen of my best fountain pen inks, but have experimented with ink and wash to create some loose artworks that have come out well. I’m not returning since I can likely use for other projects but it behaves nothing like writing on “onion skin”. I continue to experiment with it because it’s inexpensive and in like the transparency. The closest and best onion skin reproduction I’ve used so far is from the Onion skin Journal company. Still not like the vintage paper I have but a pleasure to write on!

These sheets are really a God send. Saved my stamp collection from sticking where they shouldn't.

This is the best glassine paper so far. I keep my pastel paintings under glassine paper. Highly recommend you try it.

This is the first time I’ve used smooth onion skin paper and find it delightful. A good idea is to put the stack of these papers in the feeding tray and let them settle down and avoid static electricity. If you live in a very dry climate. Prints are beautiful.

I'm happy with my product. Very good deal and excellent quality. Only complaint I have is the packaging isn't very secure, however it didn't arrive damaged (luckily).

Product is being used to cover artwork as I progress on the project. If I could improve one thing it would be how it is packaged; however, that probably is why they are able to keep the cost down.

Works perfectly for protecting your artwork with pastels or sketching, from you lounging over your work and smudging it, Can be used for many artistic uses. Large sheets and very useful and many of them in a pack

Bought this to protect my artworks whilst storing and working on them. Good for not picking up or smudging pastel but really would be better in larger sheets or on a roll.
