THE DETAILS
Strands can be plugged in together, male to female end-to-end, but do not exceed more than 1200 watts strung together. You can exchange bulbs for variety or to upgrade to LED but the bulbs have equal or lower wattage levels, they cannot be a higher level.
The strands have two prong plugs and only work with 110v outlets. They are dimmable and can be connected to all standard incandescent dimmers that can handle the total wattage of all connected strands. There is three feet of space in between each bulb, as well as an additional three feet between the plug and the first bulb on either end.
SET UP INFORMATION
Set up is very easy, just hang the lights as desired, in canopy formations or straight across the space.
Please NOTE that the loops at the top of each socket are meant to provide additional support points for set up and should not be used as the sole means for hanging the strand.
We recommend using a guide wire (not included) as the most supportive hanging method, but you can also secure the main strand using zip ties or properly positioned hooks.

15 BULBS INCLUDED
These strands include 7 S14 incandescent bulbs. The heated coils give off a warm orange toned glow, and shine brightly, but not too harshly, at 11 watts per bulb.
Search for 11S14 incandescent bulbs for replacement bulbs if needed. The bulbs are made of glass. They are made more durable to provide a better, longer lasting product, but are not shatterproof, so hang them with care.

I thought I would leave a review as I've had these exact lights for 12 years now (since 2014), hanging up, through all the seasons and weather (well.. San Diego weather lol).. but they still work perfectly, dim perfectly. I am on today to purchase more light bulbs (trying to figure out if I can switch to LED on these strings?). In reading through some of the reviews, I thought I would add mine. We have 4 strings hooked together that attach to different parts of our house at one end and a big old tree at another over our yard, in which we entertain in a lot. Yes, they are heavy. My son strung them with 1/8" wire cable (there are eye-holes for cable on each light) and they are attached to roof by the cables and all the hardware that cinches them down, etc. (sorry for lack of hardware language: I'm the mom not the engineer). That being said, they've been up a long time and are still working perfectly, adding ambience to every party and event. Thanks for great product!

The lights look nice, just have to really plan because you cannot adjust the distance between the lights so if you’re not careful they will dip low a bit or you can hang them without using the loops that are made to hold them up

I was skeptical of these because I accidentally bought the incandescent version and didn't realize each bulb with three feet apart. Opening up the package changed my mind. They have a thick heavy duty cord. The bulbs are glass. It was packaged nicely. I went back and forth on putting them up because I thought the spacing would be too far apart per bulb. Honestly, once I got them up I was really happy I kept them. They look great and high quality. They're bright enough and hang nice. I'll be looking to purchase led versions for the rest of the yard down the road and won't hesitate to purchase these again.

Hung 2 of these up under our covered patio 2 years ago and haven’t had to touch them since! They give off a great, soft light and really upgrade the space.

Love these cafe lights. Nice heavy cord. Easy to hang or remove. Bright lights for evening lighting. Take the bulbs out of the sockets before removing the cable or you will pop every one of them!! The bulbs are dimmable.

Lights work well. Added them to a dimmer switch and inside remote. Light wiring runs parallel......how do I know? Well a bloody squirrel chewed through one link making the light socket fall. The other is lights continued to shine. Mad but glad at the same time. So far so good. One less squirrel though.

After researching high quality lights, I learned that Britech were consistently ranked at or near the top. They offered a very high quality build that allowed year round use without having take them down in the winter or bad weather. Another key feature was the ability to dim the lights which truly adds to the overall experience.The only negative with this purchase aside from the high cost of shipping (even though I'm a Prime member) was I didn't receive the Britech product I was expecting. I received another brand but after more research, they offered the same features and benefits as the Britech and we've been very happy with them.

I purchased 5 sets of these for our pool enclosure and installed them this weekend. The quality of the strings is very good and well thought out and it appears as if they made the string, then poured a solid rubber mold onto the set to make it very sturdy and water resistant. There is a mounting tab above each bulb so you can fasten them without pinching the wiring or risking damaging it. The sets come well packaged and there is no tangling. The bulbs are packed separately inside another box for additional protection and each set came with a spare bulb. Since we were stringing them over 25 feet lengths and some of them are over a pool, we ran a 1/8" galvanized steel cable and used stainless steel zip ties to fasten each bulb mounting tab to the cable to reduce the stress on the wiring and ensure safety.Firing up the lights for the first time was a WOW moment! The individual bulbs are not super bright but in the string they really light up the area with a nice incandescent glow. I wish we had found these years ago, I used to run white christmas lights along the enclosure to help light the patio up and would have to use flashlights to see the grill!There are similar lights from other sellers, but I am glad I purchased from Brightech, as the kits I got were high quality and really look more expensive than they are. While they are not inexpensive, they are a great value and I am so happy that I won't be worrying about whether the lights will work every time I use them like I would with the lower quality christmas lights with fake plastic globes made to look like these.
