I kept looking for crossbars for my 2020 Explorer and there are several options out there. These checked off all the boxes I was looking for: sturdy, great aesthetics and value. The provided instructions are bad but what's new. They are straight forward except that when installing them, you have to make sure to loosen the top screw and push down so that the metal clamps grab on to the botton lip of factory installed rails. The instructions fail to mention this step which is important so that the crossbars won't fly off. Overall, very pleased with them.

I bought these crossbars to install a cargo carrier that I bought weeks ago. All of the pictures with this product show the rear cross bar in the middle position, but when I tried to install the rear cross bar it would only fit in the back most position. After taking them down and getting ready to return them I saw that the rear cross bar is adjustable. After adjusting the bracket outward it fit the middle position perfectly. When I went back to the instructions I saw a footnote mentioning the need to tighten the underside of the bracket (where this adjustment is made).Overall, I'm very happy with this product now that I got it to fit the position I need it.

Product is sturdy enough for 100 pound rating and very easy to install, but the adjustable end brackets are made of plastic which squeaks every one of a 400 mile trip. Squeak squeak squeak, Squeak squeak squeak, Squeak squeak squeak. I'm going to mark the adjusted position of these and try to inject JB weld into the fittings, then permanently fit them up after it sets up.

Much better price than the OEM version from Ford. Installation was fairly straightforward though I wish they’d included a star shaped torx bit to remove the plastic caps on the factory roof rails. Very sleek design with a nice low profile. I don’t notice any additional noise. Some have complained that the aft cross bar doesn’t fit probably. I didn’t have this issue. Had to use the middle position anyhow due to the limitations of my Thule roof box. Had to extend the cross bar fully and tighten bolts. Everything fit tight and flush at that point.Frankly all vehicles capable of having cross bars should come equipped with them but if not, these made the extra expense more tolerable.

Installed this product in 10-15 minutes with ease. It is clearly labeled to notify you of proper orientation and which one is the front/rear. The crossbars themselves are sturdy and metal with the brackets a hard plastic material. After tightening them down, I didn't notice any cracks in the plastic from too much torque or pressure. Since it's only been a week with no rain, I will have to wait and see if there are any leaks, but right now it seems like it would hold up. I may go back and apply plumbing tape to the Allen bolts if my concerns grow. However, the plastic Torx bolts didn't leak so we will have to wait and see. The bars themselves are thinner and more aerodynamic than previous ones I've owned such as Volkswagen and should not produce much wind noise. The bars should also fit most attachments with ease.

Order arrived quickly. Cross bars were easy to install and fit perfectly. So far so good. Waiting for ski attachments.

Ordered this set of cross bars for an XCargo 20 (one of, if not the largest cargo carrier around). I was a bit concerned about the "100lb" limit, given that the box itself probably already weighed in at 20. We packed it full, took it on a 22hr drive across country and had zero issues with these bars. They never gave any sign of being overloaded (I didn't measure, but it had to have been close), and at speeds of 75+mph. They adjusted well, and took about 15mins to install (the factory allen wrench means you can only get a 1/4 turn or so at a time, so it takes a while. Grab a cordless drill and you can have these on in 5 mins). I did have a problem in that one of the screws came with either a bit broken off in it, or something left from a rock washer that they run them through. It was wedged in there and meant that I was unable to tighten. I informed the seller, and without even seeing a picture (see attached), they shipped a replacement out next day. Can't ask for better service than that!

Product arrived two days after I ordered it. Installation on my 2017 Explorer Sport took less than a half hour. The car's roof rails come with threaded "snap caps" to close off the holes where the cross rails mount. They have a Torx (star) type head, which are easily started with a T30 bit. If you don't have that handy, they're a bit fiddly but not a big deal. Pay close attention to which rail is which as the rear is slightly longer, and pay attention also to which side faces forward. These are clearly marked by the mfr. I mounted the rails with the back one in the rear-most of the two avail. positions and it doesn't interfere with the "shark-fin" antenna at all. This is a nice product, and seems at least as high-quality as the Ford factory one, but at a substantial discount.
