This listing for the LS425 says it plays 4K, but that is incorrect. I bought this player from that description, which put me in a bad spot with my client. To output 4K video, you need at least the LS445 (not LS425) as listed here.

Brightsign is the industry leader. This new model is nice. No need for a dust cover on the micro as card anymore. Plays 4k. It’s a totally bullet proof system. I bought 16 to sync a video wall with. My only complaint is that the software to make video walls is only on PC and that software is really clunky and not intuitive. I’ve grown used to it but man could it use a refreshNote: to play 4k you’ll need to encode to h265
