This is an incredible buy for the under $25 price range. Once you find the grind size you like, it consistently reproduces that every time. It also has a small footprint. The drawbacks are the grinding time and messiness. Inexpensive burr grinders grind slowly to prevent the burrs from overheating and burning the beans. This one is no exception. Look to spend $200 if you want that 10 second grind time. When finished you will need an intermediate vessel to coax the grinds into. You'll want something like a bowl to keep from making a huge mess and wasting coffee. I used one of these twice a day for almost 2 years with no issues. I even dropped it once, breaking the clear plastic center piece. I just taped it with shipping tape and it still worked fine.

The compact design was nice. The grinder made a terrible noise as soon as the beans finished grinding. Four months from new something broke in the drive with parts rattling inside. It was hard to disassemble and reassemble each time you ground beans and the grounds hopper was difficult to remove to clean. I do not recommend this product. Bought a bigger European brand grinder and it performs quicker, quieter and has a more consistent grind result.

It looked great and worked great for 5 uses. Then it started to "woble" while it was running but everything felt fine and didn't look like anything was broken. Less than 10 uses later it completely broke. Plastic housing gave way and now it just wraps itself around its cord and doesn't find coffee. Would not recommend and wish I could get my money back. Not worth the price.

Works great, but the locking mechanism broke on the 3rd grind. No idea what happened or how to fix. Still works though, it just doesn't turn to lock anymore, which makes it awkward to use. Grind is really good and very easy to use and clean.

This could be a great burr grinder for up to 30 g per dose, but the execution is poor, especially in the bottom section where the ground coffee collects.Forget to lock the top (where the motor is) because locking it is a pain. I run the unit putting the motor on top, no locking. The worse is the bottom where the ground coffee is collected. I simply discarded it and collect the coffee on a small glass jar that fits on the middle part.It grounds very slowly, so be patient and do something during the 2 minutes it takes to grind 30 g.Ideal unit, thought, if you are sort of space and do not need to grind more than 30 g

This was my most practical COVID survival purchase. Unlike all other burr grinders, it doesn't take up the whole countertop. It only grinds two scoops of beans, but that's perfect for daily batches. The coarse grind is like a woodchipper (see the photo), and I'm using a medium grind for cold brew. It takes about two minutes to grind, and it can handle industrial-strength coffee beans. It's about as loud as a spice grinder. The best feature is how easy it is to clean. You can pop the grinder open and rinse it out. You don't have to spend 15 minutes going over it with a Playmobil broom like the full-sized models.Update 9/24: This thing is still going strong. I hope they release a USB C powered update.

After a few months of using this lovely little grinder, the sections of the base seem to have come apart? When I turned it on this morning all the pieces started spinning freely instead of grinding the coffee. I am very sad because it's been the perfect little grinder up until now. Compact, simple, consistent grind. I am going to try and contact the company, but I'm not sure the warranty will apply since I got it on Amazon and didn't register the sale on their website... if you do get this grinder maybe look into that! They offer a 2-year warranty and Amazon only offers 90-day coverage. I'm just a few days past the Amazon coverage :(

This product is exactly what it says it is, a small grinder for individual servings. It you want to serve two you will have to run it twice. It grinds slow and relatively quiet. Frankly I found it a little too slow but the worst thing is in about three weeks it fell apart. All the insides just seemed to fall apart. I had already planned to return it, now it is just a matter of getting the information to get it back to Amazon, I am expecting no problems.

5/29/20 Update after more than a year of use: minus one star. takes even longer to grind now. around 5 minutes. grind isn't as fine any more, even on the '2' or '1' (finest) setting it still comes out in rather large, uneven pieces.Used for around a month to grind 30 grams (its max) per day.Pros:- Compact, stylish design- Dual voltage convenient for foreign travel- Grind seems consistentCon:- Emptying the thing is an ordeal. Before opening, need to hit it multiple times on all sides to "break" the static and have it settle inside. Somehow small amounts of coffee still "explode" out when I first twist it open. Then I need to bang it hard to make sure all the coffee gets out. On thicker grinds this isn't so much of a problem, but on the finger grinds (which is my routine) it's a chore.- It's louder than I expected. Not deafening, but not pleasant to have a conversation around either.- Takes around 3:30 to do the full 30g, which is about 2:30 more than I think I should be waiting.- There's usually a few beans at the end that simply will not pass into the grinder. AKA popcorn effect. I shake the unit which sometimes causes one or two to catch and grind, but inevitably there's at least a couple of beans that I simply don't have the patience to deal with.- No auto-stop.- It should have a visible or audible warning if the door of the basket is not closed properly. It's easy to overlook closing it (especially pre-coffee fix) and then I get coffee all over the counter. :(Overall it does the job... but it needs some smarter engineering improvements.

I've been using this at least twice daily now for 4 months. Had to get the hang of it at first - put on the top with button vertical just to left of your grind choice setting and twist to close. Make sure bottom side opening is closed, then twist open to get out ground coffee. I tap the top of it with my palm to get the ground coffee out of the bottom. I did chip a little piece of plastic off it - that was user error not product fault and it hasn't harmed the integrity of the grinder. I love it because I just press it and it does its job while I boil water and do some dishes or whatever. I personally don't find it too loud - much quieter than other grinders. I fill to top for my 20 ounce mug and set on 2 (almost smallest grind) for cone filter pour over. My stove top tea kettle boils in almost the exact amount of time as the grind takes. It's not to big on the counter - takes up minimal space. The cord is actually much longer than i need - so plenty of room if you want to keep it a bit far away from the outlet.
