I’m glad I was able to purchase this used. Though it’s missing a few rubber end pieces, it still does the job—it hold our water jug perfectly!

We got this after our big, boxy, office-water-cooler type dispenser started leaking. It's attractive and very sturdy despite its small profile- it holds 5 gallon jugs easily. Another plus is that it seems "cleaner" than big boxy dispensers- there's no water-containing reservoir lurking somewhere you can't see, possibly filling with mold or Lyme or whatever. The spout works great- dispenses quickly and does not leak, easy to put on and take off.

The dispenser valves were not in the box. The metal holder seems fine, but I can't really use it without the dispensers.

I’ve been using this and another Brio water stand for about 5 months and it’s been a great experience. It took forever to go their l through reviews because I needed to make sure I got something that would work with my 5 gallon glass water bottles and this one has worked perfectly. The package came with two different sized spouts, so one of them worked with the glass bottle. It was tricky to figure out how to use it at first. I learned that I had to twist the spout screw open all the way, lay it over the bottle opening, then PUSH it down over the opening THEN screw it closed FIRMLY by holding the tip of the spout with my other hand.I also later purchased separately a bottle carrier to use to slide the heavy glass bottle into that opening because my finger got clipped when I used my hands. Imagine your finger getting crushed between metal and glass! Now, my hands and fingers don’t come near that opening. I also use risers to give it more height because it’s situated on the floor under a table.REQUESTS:- I would love for them to make an even taller stand and a metal pour spout.- I also wish there was a way to increase the water flow. This was clearly designed to fill up a glass gently. However, I use this to fill up large flasks and pots, so it requires patience to wait for the water flow. Sometimes pressing, releasing, and pressing again will slightly change the water flow.- A dust cover/cap would be nice to cover the spout between uses for dusty environments.- Also, maybe a clamp to hold the lever down for you while the water is coming out.

I love this water jug. A big improvement from the pump I used to have. My only issue is that my spout leaks whenever I use it. AT first I thought I wasn't twisting the spout in properly, but now I realize that there's a hole or something behind the spout.

Any potential buyers beware, the item described in this product page from DesertCart is not the product that you will receive. Do not expect a black stand with 2 nos. values, but instead, just a blue water jug. That is it.

Update 2022: I am still using, even bought another one so I can have two jugs going at a time. I use glass 5 gallon jugs, so I can honestly say these things are sturdy! Great product! What I was looking for in a water dispenser...1. I wanted the water to stay in the glass container, so the crock route did not work for me, too fish tank like for me.2. I wanted it raised up off of the counter, not hanging over the edge of the counter.3. I wanted the least amount of plastic involved as possible. This Brio dispenser checked all the boxes. I really like it and my children are drinking more water because it is easily accessible. The cap fit on my glass 5 gallon jug perfectly. I have not had any leaks or drips. It comes with 2 caps one for threaded and one without. I'm very pleased with the purchase and I would totally recommend for anyone who is looking for the perfect dispenser, especially for GLASS containers.I read in other reviews that some people detected a plastic taste from the small cap. I have not experienced that at all. I am highly sensitive to taste and smells to begin with. There is no assembly required...just wash the cap, twist it on your jug and you're ready to drink!

I spent way too long researching an affordable dispenser solution for our 5 gallon water jugs. I was concerned about hygiene, which eliminated most crocks due to the water coming into contact with the outer neck of the bottle. I also wanted to minimize contact of the water with plastic and ensure that any plastic was BPA-free, which eliminated a lot of electronic/automatic dispensers. I also didn't want to spend a fortune, which eliminated free-standing heater/cooler units.I was a bit wary of this product at first glance, thinking it might be unstable or cheaply made - but it is neither of these. In fact, once the 5 gallon bottle is secured into the stand, the unit feels very stable and solid. The metal frame is well made and doesn't have any appreciable flex or slop. The dispenser nozzle is easy to operate without leaking or spilling, and it's at the perfect height for dispensing into most anything we need such as bottles, cups, our kettle, and watering can.It can be a bit tricky to get the full bottle into the stand while the stand is up high on a counter. I've found it's easiest to put the stand on the ground, load the bottle, and then lift it up by holding the handle of the bottle and the frame of the stand.
