Included is a CNC precision-machined billet aluminum pressure plate, coil springs, spring cups and stainless screws. This kit simply replaces the stock clutch spring/pressure plate assembly- no modifications required.

Smoother feeling and most important, when use the clutch in heavy traffic on a hill climbing, eliminated the sliding of the disks.

Worked great. I have only been on one short test ride after installing the spring conversion on my 2000 Yamaha V Star 1100 but so far so good. The reason for only 4 stars is my kit did not come with new bolts as in the picture.

passenger weight and wind drag were too much on the stock Yamaha clutch spring. I burned up a stock set of friction plates and a set of carbon fiber plates. I installed Barnett friction & steel plates & a clutch spring conversion kit. To date they are holding up well even under extreme conditions. Both the clutch housing & clutch boss were burred so I used an emery disk to deburre them and then a cloth wheel & paste to polish the plate ports. The results are a feel & performance that are better than new on a 12 year old bike. I would recommend this item to anyone who rides heavy or has a lot of wind drag. I didn't need the available stronger springs even though I ride 100lb. over limit.
