Initially concerned with the prefix “s” on the model number but a review someone posted stated that it is interchange able. Decided to order the motor and found out that it works well. No issues.

This is not a Broan brand replacement motor. It physically fits but has completely different specs compared to original.

Called Broan and the lady tech said you don’t need a 1.7 A draw the new units have less amp draw. Not the case, still needed a 1.7 amp draw motor to tur the blower fast enough.

I use this setup in a shop made air filter. This motor is smaller than the one I replaced, but fits the housing seamlessly.It is much quieter but also moves much less air, about half is my guess. I wish I had known the replacement was a smaller motor

Was scared wouldn't find right part, this motor smaller length wise then original but had exact same specs. Works great so far
