I replaced one regulator tape with one a neighbor gave me. The removed tape is is black plastic, flat, and punched for a sprocket drive.The removed tape measures 1.92mm(.08”) thick, 15.2mm (0.6”) wideThis tape PN 20591996 for the 1982-1996 Century measures 2.3mm(.09”) thick and 14.8mm (.59”) wide.I haven't tried to install it yet, but I'm sure it will fit my Deville.

Easier to replace than expected. Works fine. Enough for at least two or three mechanisms.Of course to extricate the regulator; I used a drill (for rivets), screwdriver (for each panel), duct tape (to support the glass), and quarter inch rivets (for reinstallation).Gloves for protection from sharp metal edges help too.

Worked perfect for my ‘89 Cadillac Deville window regulator. Perfect, exact match to the old, brittle, chewed up tape. Along with the new motor, the window works like new again!
