The Brother is a great printer. The printer was reasonable. It prints really well.

Prints fast, movable parts are smooth to operate, scans fast, duplex printing cuts task time in half, easy to use driver interface, manual feed is easy-to-use, smooth, and does not intermittently jam.

We bought this printer/scanner for our office. The printing capabilities are perfect. We have a problem with the scanner. In addition to printing, our office scans alot of double-sided paperwork. One of the reasons I picked this model was the duplex scanning; however, when we tried to scan double-sided documents from the scanner, the printer gave an error message stating that duplex scanning can only be performed on the glass. That completely negates 50% of the reason we bought this. Pretty disappointing.
