I was expecting some kind of green thin mylar, but this is a super flexible, vinyl-like, transparent material on a green background that releases after you cut your stencil. i tried it on my ScanNCut DX225 and the stencil material started lifting from the green background, hence getting caught in the moving carriage and messing up the cut. I then tried cutting the same design using regular blank stencil sheets and had no problem. I know this is ScanNcut specific but it is not what I expected it to be when I purchased it and I could not get a clean cut (which is paramount when making a stencil). i can cleanly cut paper, cardstock, htv vinyl, permanent adhesive vinyl, mylar and even fabric with no problem whatsoever.

I just got this on the 10th of October. Love Kens Sewing and Vac retailer.This is for making stencils with your Brother Scanncut die cutting machines all of them not just the new ones. The sheet is 12x24 and you can use it on the 12x24 standard mat or the middle mat. You can use it to make one 2 foot=24inches stencil for a wall or a really big area and really want to show off your creation or you can use it for smaller designs that you want to create for stenciling like scrapbooking, containers wall décor etcI am going to use this to try and make a wall hanging and stencil out some designs to color in with my own markers or paints not sure yet. I am going to try this out on canvas and then hang it up if it comes out really well. Either way I go it will be a learning experience for me. I do think it will be fun. Can also use this to stencil on fabric and color in with fabric markers. Nice for quilting blocks to add your own designs.If you have ordered this to use with your Brother Scanncut have fun and I hope you create all your dreams with this and Brother scanncut.fawn
