It is exactly as advertised. But for me it was a little bigger than I expected. So I had to buy a bigger skillet to use it with. Also, it develop some rust spots within a couple weeks. It's probably tainted stainless steel. After all, it is made in China.

This is great for pancakes as you can get the majority or full (depending on the size you make) pancake over the spatula. The spatula is a little thicker than I was hoping for which can make it difficult to get under the pancake if you make them in a skillet. I would still purchase this.

I wanted something wide and sturdy to flip pancakes on my cast iron griddle and this works perfectly. Don't have to worry about plastic melting or a metal handle getting too hot. Keep in mind that the edges are sharp and hard, so not for use on most non-stick cookware. Ideal for cast iron or steel though.

I purchased this to use when making pancakes. It has sat in my shopping cart for a while and I finally purchased it. I am very glad that I did.It is heavy in your hand, it sits like shown in the picture on your counter by itself. The handle indicates it is heat resistant till 400+ degrees, I no longer have the tag so am unable to quote exactly. It is made in China though.I can see using this for pizza or other thin bread products. It is 6.5 inches at the widest and 7.5 inches deep. It flipped large pancakes with ease, no drippy sides.
