It arrived on time and I started using it. I don’t put wood in the dishwasher so we have to wash by hand but that’s ok. Way better than spreading with kitchen knives.

This wood handle product is cheaper than higher end plastic molded handles so we bought a couple knowing they may wear out faster. We put them in the dishwasher so that affects the wood finish - it is definitely wearing/ getting rough. The serrations for cutting are not as pronounced as the higher priced plastic models also. If you are willing to hand wash these and only want to use as a spreader, then these should suit you.

This is not so different from a butter knife, but making a sandwich with it is a much better experience. Easy spreading, easy cutting. If you are making a bunch of sammies for lunches or a party, it makes a big difference. I love a good tool!

I have one of these spreaders that is similar - I wanted to buy that one for my son, but this one could be bought separately and I wanted to buy it as a gift for my son after watching him try to mix a new bottle of Raw Almond Butter and then spread it on his toast. The handle is shorter than mine and that is the reason for 4 stars. Mine keeps your finger tips out of the mess but hey it was a gift and adding enough to reach $49.00 did not work for my "gift" giving urge.

Great for making sandwiches, spreading butter on toast, cutting bagels, frosting cakes, using as a mini spatula, and more. Better quality than Pampered Chef spreaders and a fraction of the price. These spreader's handles have stood the test of time much better than my previously purchased PC spreaders with plastic handles.I purchased 3 of these back in 2014 and now almost 3 years later, they are still in great shape. I use 2 of these everyday and 1 goes camping with us. I have hand washed, soaked, or used dishwasher to clean them over the years. (Mostly dishwasher cleaned) See my pictures of what shape they are in now. The wooden handles are still smooth and solid, the whole spreader is in great shape. Excellent product.

I had 2 old Pampered Chef versions of this. And those handles were just glued on....which come apart after a while. NOT THIS ONE!!! It's almost full tang....meaning the metal goes most of the way down the inside of the handle & it is riveted in 2 places on the wood handle to hold the blade permanently. These are extremely nice quality. I ordered FOUR! I LOVE em!! I use them to scoop out condiments & such to spread on sandwiches. ONE side is slightly serrated so you can also cut your sandwich! Because of the wood handle, I only hand-wash mine. For $1.68 each, buy several!!

My mother has one of these and she had had it for over 30 years! I love mine and purchased this one as a gift for my sister; who was thrilled.We used it everyday as kids and never realized how nifty it was until we could not find one for ourselves.Highly recommend this.
