This looks pretty good and is formal, but unassuming. It won't pass as a luxury dress shoe, but has a nice classic look and won't stand out on a formal setting.Shoe size seems good, though like all formal shoes, they're a little tight and not very flexible. I personally prefer sports shoes or work boots, they're more useful and feel better for long-term wear. Sometimes the occasion calls for formal wear though, and these will fit right in.

Needed some 'emergency' dress shoes and expected cheap shoes to be uncomfortable, but I wore them for 2 days, all day and forgot about them and they didn't remind me how inexpensive they were. They have a wider toe box than it looks so your toes don't wind up squashed (at least in the regular width size 9s.)Those looking for totally formal or traditional may not want the light sole stitching on these, but it really doesn't standout and provides a distinct look.

Shoes are so sharp! Love them! My son wore them to a semi formal dance with a gray suit and it looked perfect! Color was exact. He said they were super comfy for dress shoes. I think for what I paid it was well worth it!
