Do not get this if you plan on taking it to the field. It will burn up. The screw to the hook falls and is not easy to install. It does work with the Mak batteries. I would buy it again as a back up

I bought this to test and see how it compared to the real makita impacts. Looks just like a real makita but def doesnt have the makita tech. The knock off is about 50% louder when impacting. Ive been abusing it on a dock build and noticed yesterday that while in forward the drill the drill spun in reverse for a split second then went forward again and drove the screw. There is a delay in response time from trigger pull to action on the bit which is the most noticeable compared to real makita. I bought it as a throw away impact to use overtop of salterwater and it did its job. I dont see it lasting long but for 50$ it sure did put up a fight.
