6/22/2023 Update: I come back to these again and again! I am a REPEAT CUSTOMER, 6 times, to be exact! Our building has metal doors so these are super convenient to temporarily hang posters all around with upcoming events. Only down side is that everyone else seems to love them, too! Every time I post something a couple "mysteriously disappear" by the time I take the flyers down since I guess people think they'd be Perfect to take home for their kitchen fridge (and yes, they are pretty awesome, so can I really blame them?).p.s. I noticed there is 1 not-so-stellar review with a photo (missing a magnet) that is NOT these Brute branded ones. When I saw the photo, I then went digging through all the reviews to find it, and sure enough it does not show that it is a "Verified Purchase," so I think someone bought one of the similar looking items/ads on Amazon, but accidentally left a review here (unfortunately, no good way to notify Amazon to remove it). I could tell they weren't Brutes since the Brute magnets go pretty much all the way to the edges, compared to others that have more metal on the bottom and smaller magnet. I am so loyal to this brand that the incorrect review bothers me.Old Review:I randomly purchased the Brute brand the first time I got these push pin style magnets online. Didn't realize how great they were until I accidentally bought some others on Amazon, thinking they were all the same (definitely not). The magnets on these are way better than the others I got.Love these magnets, I work in a school.

These are powerful magnets. With two of them, I was able to lift up a 1.57 lb 17" metal bulletin board. They're overkill for refrigerator magnets unless somebody wants to pin a small pad to it or hang utensils from it (though the pinhead is too big for the hole in some of my utensils). It is not strong enough to hold an 11" frying pan, but two magnets did--though I would not use them that way.I'm using them to hold paper down securely for art projects using a 17" metal bulletin board as a drawing surface. That way, I don't have to use masking tape to minimize buckling with watercolors.

Finally, a fridge magnet that WORKS. These are at least 5x stronger than any fridge magnets I've bought in the past. They are good looking, small, easy to handle, super strong, and just seem to check off all the boxes you want. Just buy them. They are not huge, they are like mini chess set pawns. But that is perfect, and you won't brush by the fridge and knock these off. Not possible!

I use "push pin" magnets professionally for my work and have tried out pretty much everything on offer here. Magnets may look more or less the same, trust me they are not. The strength varies a lot. These magnets might be a bit more expensive, but they deliver. They are the strongest you will find on amazon, as strong as the ones I've been special ordering directly from China. but way more convenient, and way nicer, since they are cased in stainless steel. rather than plastic. These are the only magnets I will be buying from now on.

Yep, they are push pin shaped magnets. They hold very well. I use them to hold a large calendar to the side of a file cabinet and two of them do the job. I really like these things and the push pin shape makes them easier to take off or put back. A+ product! After several months I placed an order for a second set. They are very strong magnets. Now I have a surplus, cause You never know when you’ll need more. I’m sure sliding them on metal could scratch, so be careful! But it’s not been a problem in my situation.

Pretty strong but honestly I was hoping for a little more. Holds about 4 folded menu or bus schedule type papers. I wanted something a little stronger to keep bills and receipts organized but I don't think these will do the job. As long as they are in contact with the metal surface the holding power is decent but any space at all and there's not much hold left. They're good enough to keep around, magnets always come in handy.

I looked for a while trying to find a decent set of fridge magnets and it's tough. They tend to be pricey for good solid Neodymium magnets. These don't mention Neodymium at all but they sure are strong for their size. That was another thing that I looked for online, size. I didn't want a "tiny" thumbtack size magnet and these are somewhat tack-shaped but much bigger. Most of the other popular ones are tiny multicolored ones that I just couldn't bring myself to try cause they looked cheap. These have enough bite to really hold and it requires some pressure to pull off. The claim is 15 pages of paper, and though it will hold that many with a little slide, it won't fall off the fridge with that many unless the fridge door is opened and closed often. I, however, found that the perfect amount was 11 pages with no budge as the pictures will show. I also tried to hold up a small skillet with two of them as the bottom one provides the extra bite needed to not slide and it held up just fine. Most things under a half pound should be ok, but for sure not over. They come neatly packed in a foam bag and plastic case. The quality is quite nice and the coating is solid with no chips. For the money, and if you have kids, get these because they will hold up, not slide down and get within toddler reach to protect whatever you might have on your fridge which in my case is sheets of paper and dry erase markers.
