I won the first game I played using these chips, so they must be lucky. LOL Well made and plenty of them for 8 people to play. The weight was just right. The case is solid.

I bought this chip set for the chips alone, as I was looking for an affordable set of 14 gram chips to use at home. I was happy to find that all of the chips were cut evenly and seemed to weigh exactly the same.However, about 10-15 of the grey chips, as well as 1-3 of all the other denominations has slight defects where the white stripes running up the sides were peeling. I was upset about this at first, but then I realized that they have multiple layers of paint. It took me about 20 minutes to get all of the excess loose paint peeled off cleanly from the chips that had it.After that short roadblock, all of the chips looked perfect.As for the case, I would recommend buying a separate one to carry all of the chips in. The total weight of the chips is around 17 pounds, and the plastic handle is barely capable of carrying the entire weight of the chip set.I plan on purchasing a few lower ($0.25) and higher ($10) denominations in order to be able to play different levels of stakes depending on how casual the game is and how big the buy-in is.

This was a tough review for me to write, as I had a hard time deciding how many stars to give it!We were looking for good quality poker chips, and were willing to pay a high price for it. One of our quality criteria was that the chips should have some weight to it, and not just fly around when thrown into the pot. These chips are excellent in that respect. They feel authentic, heavy duty, and have a casino effect to them. We really enjoyed playing with them!The cards that came with it however were quite low grade. And the case is of poor quality too. The handle broke as it could not hold the weight of the chips. However, I am not taking away too many points for that, as it is the chips that we mainly made this purchase for.The thing that ***really disappointed*** me is the sticker quality on the chips. The stickers look great, but they do not stay on well. Within the first poker night itself, stickers off four of the chips came off. We put it right back on, but I am not sure what to expect the next time we use the set. Clearly over time, we'll have a ton of them come off.It's a shame, as the quality of the chips itself is very good. If only they had gone the whole nine yards in regards to quality, then this set would have been perfect!!!

These chips look nice from pictures, but the quality control is horrible. 95% of the chips will have clear defects such as spots, bad sticker placement which reveals the inlay, or busted edges. They are also actually closer to 13g too. The case doesn't seem like it would hold up either. For the price, I believe getting a cheap set in any store would be better.

If you are looking for a nice chip set that provides "authentic" feel and sound, look no further. These chips are nice, very nice. They have the look, the feel and the sound that most of us expect when using chips. And the dealer button is a nice touch.The set stays in the poker room, so I can't comment on how well the case travels, but based on the weight of the entire set I do have to believe the reviews that mentioned the handle breaks under repeated use. I haven't used either the included cards nor the dice so no comment on that either.With my set I removed the $500 and $1000 chips and added a few more rows of Brybelly Eclipse $5 chips. Most of our games have a $5/$10 small/big blind so the extra $5's were worthwhile. You can buy stacks of any demoniation Eclipse chips for $9.99 here on Amazon.

The chips quality and weight and feel were very good, but the case was not the quality I expect. It looks great but it is very thin and cannot hold the weight of the chips. I immediately re-enforced the edge near the handle as it felt like the edge was going to rip off. It still is flimsy but at least feels like it won't fall apart now. Good set for the price if you can deal with a flimsy case.

I love this set, arrived fast and free shipping to boot! The only thing I didn't like was the absence of $10 denominations. The set seemed to miss them based on the number of singles and the up to 100's, 500's, and even 1,000's. I topped it up by buying 50 $10 chips and my home games are great.

This is a pretty awesome set of poker chips for what you pay for them. I have had a few house games now and every time my friends say, wow these are really nice chips. They have a great weight to them in the hand and a nice sound when you splash the pot. I give it four out of five because the case is a little on the cheap side. You can not really carry it by the handle because the chips are too heavy and the metal bends. Other than that great set. I would definitely buy these as a gift for a friend or recommend them. Be warned... shipping for me cost as much as the set did. That being said, I still would buy them again.

These chips are fantastic. They are of a high quality, feel exceedingly similar to the chips in use at the local casino, and play very well. The denominations I received were exactly as advertised, and without flaw on any of the 500 chips.These chips stack very neatly, are cut to the same size, and are all matching weight.As other reviewers have mentioned, the aluminum case is not as sturdy as would be ideal for the weight of these chips. However, as the purchase was not for the case, but for the chips, I will not count that in the score.The cards which came with these chips are perfectly fine, they work well, and feed through my automatic shuffler without any issues. jOverall, this was a fantastic investment. I especially like the fact that with these chips, I have the option to buy other denominations, and various quantities, if I realize I need to fill in any gaps, or increase a stack for the sake of my monthly poker nights.

These chips are great chips, they don't have that metallic sound like the typical 11.5 gram chips you see just about everywhere. These chips are 14 grams and feel plastic/ceramic and have a sound similar to clay chips. Make no mistake these aren't Paulsons or another true clay chip but they don't cost a 1$ a piece either.Case is good enough for the money. Overall a 5 star because again its only 35 dollars and a great value.
