My nephew was really confused and couldn't figure it out, which means it's a good puzzle box that takes more than 2 seconds to figure out. I'm glad he got so frustrated, not because I'm mean, but because it made him think.

It was fun for my 10 year old grandson to try and figure it out. Unfortunately it fell apart before he actually solved it completely. I would still recommend it as he had just as much fun trying to put the box back together.

Super fun way to give a gift card or money. This little box was a little small for a gift card, so I had to curve it a bit to fit it in. It did work though!

No complaints though! I used this to hide set of earrings for my wife, and it took her less than 30 minutes to figure it out. But it was still worth it. Well made, sides slide pretty well, a bit stiff at first but they more freely after a bit of use.

Je suis satisfaite de cette boîte que j’ai offert à une ado de 15 ans. Il lui a fallu un bon moment pour réussir à l’ouvrir. Statistiquement, c’est possible que quelqu’un l’ouvre en une minutes, mais ce serait de la chance et les probabilités sont que ça lui prenne beaucoup plus de temps! Mon ado a joué avec la boîte avec ses amis pendant toute une soirée avant que quelqu’un réussisse à l’ouvrir!Le compartiment n’est pas très grand, mais il n’est pas minuscule non plus. Il est bien sûr possible d’y mettre de l’argent ou une feuille avec un message, mais aussi d’autres petites choses, comme des boucles d’oreilles, un porte-clés, etc.La boîte est jolie aussi… et réutilisable pour d’autres personnes… et même pour la même personne. Je suis certaine qu’au prochain anniversaire de mon ado, je pourrais la réutiliser. Impossible qu’elle se rappelle dans quelles positions mettre les 10 languettes de bois pour l’ouvrir!

If you are looking for a sturdy box to open and close that holds lots of treasures, this probably won’t work. I picked this up for a Christmas gift for my older grand children. It is small but will easily hold cash. With the instructions, the box is easy to open, but I will not include the instructions when I gift it. A fun way to make a gift card or money an interesting present. Note: I included a poem explaining the box must not be broken and that we had the instructions available.I gave it four stars as one of the boxes I received had pieces too tight to move. However, I had no problem returning and the replacement I ordered worked fine.

I really liked this puzzle box but couldn't decide if to give it 2 stars or 4 stars, so to be fair i gave it a 3 star rating.The low rating is simply because of usability. While the craftsmanship of the puzzle box is superb, the usability of the box in reality is poor.The box, while beautiful, is unable to hold if anything at all, despite it's size.Once the over of the box is removed after being unlocked the space is large enough to hold a ring box or multiple pieces of small jewelry, however you won't be able to close back the box. To be able to close the box and open it and use it freely you would have to keep jewelry or items in the cover of the box which is extremely small and cannot hold a rig box.You would be able to store small earrings and maybe a few rings but nothing more.So to be fair to both design and usability, 3 stars was appropriate
