When I saw this 15-pack of 4/4 size bridge blanks for 8.99, I thought I'd give them a try. At about sixty cents a bridge, which is a laughably low price, I had nothing to lose. The bridges came in, and I inspected them. No, they are not famous maker bridges, and it shows. However, they are maple and are cut more or less correctly, with the long grains toward the player, as they should be. Not every inexpensive bridge is cut correctly, I can say for sure.I selected a bridge from the multipack for a student-grade violin. As usual with inexpensive bridges, I worked on it a bit with a razor knife. You don't want little wood chips in the hearts, kidneys, etc. Then, I fitted the bridge to the violin using the standard methods. During this process, there were no problems or unexpected issues with the bridge. Finally, I placed the fitted bridge on the violin and tuned the instrument. I'm happy to report that the student violin, while hardly spectacular, played well. The bridge is a crucial part of this. While not of professional quality, these bridges are adequate for cost-conscious or student players. They are fantastic for my use; I donate many spare instruments to local schools. At 8.99 for fifteen, you can't go wrong here. Recommend.

Good stock wood and at 15 pcs. They are a good value. Can be easily be modified for making setup and adjustments as needed while setting up a standard beginner full size violin.
