This is an exact replacement for the strap that holds my 15 foot sailboat to my trailer. The strap hooks to the back corner of the trailer, goes up over the cockpit of the boat, and back to the other corner of the trailer. The length is adjustable with the buckle and the strap is tightened by rotating the buckle. It is a good system that always worked well for me.
