About us
BTFL boards & skates started in 2015 as a longboard brand made by girls for girls. A german team of young designers and experienced german technical specialists at BTFL create Roller Skates and Longboards made specifically for women’s body sizes and weights. The construction and individual technical features of the BTFL boards allow lighter, more petite riders to cruise comfortably on their BTFL longboards. These make it easier for beginners to learn, and also give advanced riders the chance to go to their limits. We’ve decided to adopt the successful formula from our longboard product range for our roller skate line. We provide roller skates with specific designs and technical features which were developed with a focus on high-quality materials and a good fitting. Our skates are available in a variety of colors and sizes.

Good looking skates but all 4 wheels on each skate were slow to turn. Skates came with a tool to adjust them but for new out of the box skates I didnt think I should be needing to adjust the wheels right away so I am returning. Also the wheel base is pretty narrow and I am a life long roller skater and blader so I can tell you that these are not for beginners. You will not feel steady or stable on these if you are not used to the feeling of being up on roller skates in the first place. For beginners I would recommend buying something with a wider wheel base to start.

These skates are so comfortable. They look cute and ride well. As a beginner, I felt safe. I like that it has a little heel, which provided more stability. I highly recommend.

Have been wearing these skates for a month now. Probably logged about 60 hours in them and they are great!! I have a bunions so I needed a wider skate to accommodate. These required no break in time. They are super comfortable. They’re my first pair of skates so I can’t compare others as far as performance goes but I did buy a couple of other brand skates and had to return them. The boot was so stiff it was painful. This boot is suede and very pliable.I’m a beginner and I’ve been really happy with how these perform, the speed or the wheels, the hardness of the wheels, etc. I have loosened the trucks once to support more maneuverability.If you’re new to skating and looking for some tutorials, look for DirtyDeborahHarry on YouTube. She is fantastic!!

The suede exterior is really nice making for a softer but structured boot. The wheels are very smooth making turns and backwards skating easy. So far the only issue I have is that I received these skates as a gift and they arrived used and dirty. The insoles had cat hairs all over them. The exterior had stains and drip marks and dirt under the laces. There was noticeable wear on the wheels and the stopper.

These were worth the money! I bought another brand and returned them because it felt like I was wearing cardboard. These skates are very comfortable, good quality, they have cushions on the inside, they were exactly what I was looking for!
