I do big bubble displays at kite festivals here in the Midwest. I use to have to measure out all my chemicals separately. This stuff saves me the time and hassle of having to do so. When I mix, I do it this way. Put 1/3 of your water in your container. Next I use a mason jar to mix the powder in with a electric hand blender to make sure it all gets dissolved (use a portion of the hot water you still have) Pour this into your container with the hot water. Measure out your soap. Use plain (no fancy additives) Dawn!! Pour that into your container. Use the rest of your leftover hot water to rinse the last of the soap into you container. Mix very well. (I use an electric drill with a paint stirring attachment.) Done! Now if you want stronger bubbles you can add 1 teaspoon of J Lube per gallon of mixture. I alway do. Mix the J Lub the same way as the powder in a mason jar with hot water and add it to the mix before the soap. Note J Lube is hard to dissolve, but is well worth the effort.Note, when I make bubble mix I make at least 5 gallons at a time for festivals so I get lots of happy faces!

This is an absolute waste of money. Appears to just be a heap of guar gum. Literally like 50 cents worth of materials.Just buy guar gum.

I am a true bubble lover. I have invested in numerous bubble guns, 1 nice bubble blowing machine, Wands, pans, more Dawn dish soap than is required for washing dishes and carry bubbles in my purse- the magic touchable kind. Feeling stressed? Take a break and blow some bubbles. It's hard to be mad about work when you're surrounded by bubbles.I bought a bottle of this solution some time ago and finally had a chance to utilize over the Easter weekend. It is fantastic! Not sure what all is in it but it seems to work as well as if not better than plain glycerin? I'm not certain but I do like the fact it is a powder and does no seem to lose its magic over time as other bubble stuff will do- fickle bubble stuff! This bottle has already made us 4 awesome gallons of bubbles! When I say awesome- I mean TERRIFIC. So happy with how many bubbles I get, how long the bubbles last and the size of the bubbles. Alas, I did not get a 12 foot bubble though we all tried. We did get very large bubbles though. Multiple bubbles the size of basketballs plus. We live on over an acre and our neighbors enjoyed the bubbles too as they drifted on over.We had the bubble machine going and a large pan in the yard with several large wands so everyone could participate. The neighbors came over and adults as well as children were able to make bubbles and it was ... really cool.I will buy this product again!Easy to use- I took an empty gallon milk jug, filled it about half way with almost hot water, added 2 tablespoons of this special bubble product, mixed, added a cup of Dawn (the good stuff used to help wildlife injured in oil spills- Dawn is the best) mixed gently and then filled my jug the rest of the way. Can be used immediately but the next day is even better. Very enjoyable, easy.

Not an accurate scientific experiment by any means, but we tested both products three times. This product did a better job producing those REALLY BIG BUBBLES, in my opinion. As far as the regular sized bubbles, I felt this mix only had a slight edge of Gazillion... if any.For me, the cost savings of this DIY mix wasn't as important. It is a nice bonus of course. But I was more concerned about the inconvenience of having to make it and the possibility of me forgetting to make this mix up ahead of time. But because it brings my kids so much joy and I am really happy with this product, I think it will continue to be a pleasure to make this mix for them in the future. We tested this BubbleThing mix and the pre-made Gazillion bubble solution three times each. We used two wands. The Gazillion "Incredibubble" Wand (one BIG circle, about the size of a dinner plate) -AND- the "Incredibubble Multiple Bubble Wand" (which has dozens of hoops spread like peacock feathers). Both wands incredibly awesome, but they use tons and tons of bubble solution. Like12 oz per outing for just two kids! So Gazillion could add up quickly if your kids are bubbleaholics like mine are.

It seems to have worked. I mixed a quart of warm tap water, two ounces of yellow Joy Ultra dish soap, and half a tablespoon of this powder in a bowl, and we had 15 minutes of fun. Most of the bubble mix ends up on the ground, having dripped off the wand, but we didn't mind.I was surprised that this was a powder, rather than a pre-dissolved liquid. The bottle looks very much like it should hold a liquid, and it tended to lump a bit when we first tried to stir it in. Also, I was surprised that I had to go out and buy dish soap. I'd been hoping for a simple, concentrated bubble soap: add water and you're done. Dish soap required another trip to the store. Well, two of them, since the first didn't have . I'd have been able to play with this a week earlier if the description had made that clear in advance (or if I'd read the Amazon reviews, rather than assuming I was getting the whole story from the original recommendation. I've got to stop ordering things without reading the critical reviews first). But overall we had fun, and it was probably a good idea to add this.
