I love these stockings. they are a treasure and an heirloom to pass down. I still have the ones I made for my children in the 1980's and they get them out every Christmas and I still fill them for when they come over on Christmas day. They have held up very well. Be warned however, these are labor intensive and require a lot of time. the directions are simple and easy to follow and don't require a lot of skill - just basic sewing techniques. I would say that a stocking might require about 30-50 hours worth of work. I did run out of some of the beads and floss but you can find replacements at of the same kind at Michael's
