I took off a star as I believe this would have sat better if there was an extra felt or pellon piece to sew on the bottom instead of just sitting on its edge. I used weighted plastic beads in a ziplock sandwich bag placed in its bottom but because it sits in its edge I have to manipulate it to stay upright. Not hard to do but with better planning could have been perfect. Sequins were pretty good in this kit so I really didn’t have to purchase higher quality ones from an outside source. All in all quite cute when finished.

Have bought several Bucilla kits before, liked it all...except the threads kept breaking, so I had to use my own! A little disappointed as this is the first time I've had this issue, but the finished item will still look good in my collection.
