I purchased these boots for my son's theatre costume. The buckles fell off on the first day. They looked great but did not hold up for the remaining performances. While the appearance was good, the quality did not justify the cost.

I ordered these for MC'ing an event at work. The Boots were a beautiful part of the outfit, and really sealed the deal! I've ordered several tricorn hats and jackets for the events, and the boots go beautifully with everything. Long term wearing, I'd suggest an insole (dr scholl or something) as they did hurt my feet, but I'm also not used to wearing anything heeled. Absolutely beautiful boots!

Its eh OK? You 100% need rubber inserts if you wanna have them on for more than 35 min the biggest negative is the horrible zipper on the inner side of the shoes like I passed over 5 different sets bc of not wanting a zipper and boom here we areThe buckle is made out of some sort of pot metal and Def will do the job but will bend if you step on it by accident or apply pressure so keep em in a good spotTheys are NOT historical but for a Halloween costume/ mid range pirate fit they will work but deff are stepping stones till I can afford 300 buck real 18th century style bootsOver all if the zipper dose not bother you and you get the rubber inserts your golden I wish they added more photos in the original sakes pics
