I have playing the clarinet for about 2 years now and my tutor recommend that if I was going to be in band in high school I was going to need a buffet Clarinet, she said that buffet was the best brand for clarinets in the world, so i got a 1,500 buffet E11 clarinet and so far it has caused a lot of problems. The first problem was that the corks were really stiff which is pretty normal for a new clarinet but after a few weeks it did not get better even worse and up until a week they were so stuck I could not pull them apart and cork grease did not help, because of this I had to grip and and pull the clarinet I ended bending the bending some keys fortunatly my band teacher was able to fix it but it could have been even worse. And one of the screws kept coming loose. It was so loose and it would move on its own, another problem was how lackluster the case was for a 1,500 dollar clarinet it did not even have a mouthpiece cover, a swab, and screwdriver (for the loose screws) the only things in the case were a cloth for wiping the keys, and 1 2 ½ reed, and manual for cleaning and maintaining the clarinet but there are no tools in the box to do so! But I still recommend it because once these problems are fixed its great although the the corks are getting stiff again.
