Works great for bathroom vents / smaller intakes. Check your sizes before you buy!!! I ended up buying way more than I could make work - most of my existing vents were actually 6" not 3" or 4". One was bathroom vent - so I made it work, the other was an intake vent for my air exchanger, I didn't want to risk it - so I was unable to use this vent for that spot. I like the way it looks - gives a nice modern, low profile appearance. The vent is a little tricky to get it to line up with the mounting block that you install first, but after a bit of messing around i got it to finally click in and hold good. Would love an option like this for 6" vents, and Dryer vents (do not use this for a dryer vent!)

Used two of these for fresh air intake and exhaust for my HRV. Well constructed and looks clean with vinyl siding. Simple installation with a hole saw.

Works as advertised, and easy to install. Easier than cutting a hole in the roof and worrying about a leak.One thing I wish they would have said in the listing- it has a 4" opening but also has a 3" reducer so you can use either 3" or 4" flex hose.Bigger is always better to promote maximum air flow.

I thought it would have smaller mesh or a flap to stop insects and air. Bugs could get in and air can travel through it. Have purchased in the past one that had a flap that opened when in use and was closed when it wasn't operating.
