It does what it’s meant to do. You have to remove the pop-in door vent before install.

super easy install once the spare tire carrier was removed. The metal plate was very sturdy - not thin and installed using the stock hardware. The supplied rubber bushings made a tight, waterproof seal.

Worked exactly as advertised, all bolts an plugs included. Great package for the cost ! I’m in southwest Ohio so we will see how it reacts to winter . If she hold up well enuff I’ll update my review..

I took the spare tire and carrier off a Jeep jk and the blackout plate fit perfect. Aluminum construction about 1/8" thick. The rubber fill plugs fit well and finished the tailgate off with a good look. Value. I was going to buy a piece of aluminum and make it myself. It was cheaper to purchase the kit.

It is a good sturdy product. Fits and functions like it should. It's a great item to replace the factory tire carrier when removed. Very easy to install and looks great. Price isn't bad at all for what it is.

I commonly haul light stuff with my HF trailer a few miles locally and HATE that ugly spare tire blocking my view. Doesn’t help visibility much when I’m plowing either. So, I took a chance on this delete and I gotta say I’m really happy with the quality and ease of install! Looks great, not flashy or gaudy at all. I have a white 2015 JK and it looks amazing. Super easy to install and buttons up nicely. The grommets fit perfectly. The bolts used for the spare tire mount fit this nicely, no extra hardware needed. I put all the small stuff that was removed (all that would fit, anyway) inside the door behind the vent so I don’t lose it. It would be very easy to reverse this process in the event of sale of the jeep. Best
