They leak regardless of how tight they are. I used these in a second small setup. The other setup I used 3” current culture, and no leaks. Thought these were a cheaper options. The washer is thin and cheap. Tightened at various pressures, and still leaks. Tried silicone, and 1 still leaked. Didn’t want any future issues so I returned them. I wasted 3 8 gallon buckets.
