I have a 2021 Airstream Flying Cloud that has the wide Demco style coupler, so my old coupler lock would not fit on the new Airstream. This fits perfect and seems sturdy enough.

This is a pretty simple lock for a trailer hitch bike rack or similar. It's a simple design and a thin pin that we expect to act as a deterrent. I will still remove the bike rack when I expect it to sit on the street for a few days.

I bought it knowing the lock isn't going to stop a mildly dedicated thief. Like any lock, it is just a deterrent.So, the key was hard to insert and remove. Perhaps the edges of key's profile are too rough, or the internals rusted, who knows. I added some WD-40, that worked a little while then wore off.The one day removing it my key gets real stuck and the plastic handle came off. Boo. Also the exterior metal is not weather proof and so started to rust pretty quickly.

Was slightly disappointed that this wouldn't actually cinch flush against both sidles of the ball lock handle on my travel trailer, which means it allows some daylight for someone to attempt to get cutters in there - the whole scenario I'm trying to prevent. I guess this isn't a one-size-fits-all, if the sides of your lock handle aren't parallel/square. I may try putting some washers on both sides of the lock handle, come spring, to see if that solves the problemUPDATE: AVOID this product. The key is so thin that If the lock mechanism provides any resistance the key will bend. I just turned the key in the lock, no extra force or pressure, and the key literally broke off in the lock. I had to use an angle grinder to cut this lock off of my camper, just to get my truck uncoupled.

Works great on my horse trailer. I guess if somebody really wanted to steal it they could break this lock with a sledge hammer. But this lock would dissuade a normal thief.

I bought a kit including three locks (Receiver, Hitch,Latch) for a new boat trailer I had ordered ... the latch lock was made for trailers with a narrow latch but when my trailer came I needed one much wider. I bought one made to fit a much wider latch mechanism, but it wasn't adjustable ... the lock was out on the end of the pin leaving the pin exposed.This one adjusts down the fit my trailer latch assembly perfectly leaving the exposed pin on the outside of the lock rather than between the lock and trailer. The lock mechanism is totally protected from salt water and road grime. the way it is made, it is by far the easiest to get on and off WITH THE KEY.I edited this to attach a photo as I think my initial description of the three locks I used was confusing/unclear. The Masterlock next to the checkerboard is a perfectly wonderful latch lock that fits my other trailers but, as you can see, it isn't made for this trailer. The second one, above my foot, is probably perfect for the tongue it was designed for.I have nothing negative to say about either of those ... my fault for not ordering the right one.This one, shown in place (middle) is perfect for my application, It seems very well made, and the key mechanism is protected, yet the simplest to use.Of course, none of these devices will stop a determined thief, but this one should be some deterrence.

I have been using my lock for a few months now, its easy to get on and off when I need to take my trailer on and off. Haven't had anyone try to steal my trailer since this has been in use, lost another trailer before this one because I was careless and did not have one of these. Hope I need need to change my review!
