This tool is a beast. I can't imaging it breaking. It will definitely drag huge piles of drenched redwood needles. I also got their round point shovel. Ditto on the durability. Heavy gauge steel.

I haven't used this tool for very long, but it's styling and workmanship are noticeably superior to other yard tools on the market. It truly built-to-last: stout fiberglass handle is tightly fit and riveted to the rake. The steel tines are both sturdy and flexible, and actually welded to their base. I paid more but am glad to know I won't have to replace it for years. Many thanks!

Weren't sure about ordering a rake on line but arrived in perfect condition. The rake is extremely well made, my husband was very impressed, especially after the first use. We have a large lot and needed something that was not fragile and would stand up to repeated use. It is heavy, at least for me, but my husband said that's why it gets the job done without falling apart. Great product!

I'm a wildland firefighter, and I live at 8,000-feet in the mountains west of Denver, Colorado. Anyone who lives in the wildland-urban interface has to know that wildfire is the greatest threat to their home and family. I take the threat of wildfire seriously, and I spend much of my free time doing fire mitigation on the property. I thin stands of trees, remove brush and other ladder fuels, and for a considerable distance around my home, I remove all ground fuels, including pine needles and cones, fallen branches, and twigs. Close to my house, I don't want anything on the ground that can carry fire. Clearing decades worth of forest debris is an enormous job, but it can be done with some hard work and the right tools.I started my project with a leaf rake from a big box store. I bought the best they had, but their best wasn't good enough. I soon bent the tines and eventually snapped the wooden handle. Then I found the Bully Tools 92312 Leaf and Thatching Rake. Wow! The Bully Tools 92312 is like no rake I have ever seen. The head is heavy gauge steel and can take a beating. The handle is fiberglass, and I couldn't break it if I tried.Since buying the Bully Tools rake, I've picked up a few of their other tools, and I am sold on Bully Tools. These tools are built for real work: commercial grade, top-quality construction. I can't recommend Bully Tools strongly enough. Spend a little extra, buy a Bully Tool, and you'll likely never have to buy that same tool ever again.

Very sturdy but a bit heavy and not as flexible as others. Satisfied enough that I won't return it...not sure I would buy this one again either

Solid sturdy rake. I'm certain in 20 years you'll be able to say they don't make them like this any more about this rake while your still using it.

I expect that this will last me a lifetime. I had never given much thought to what makes for a quality rake, but when you compare this to a regular rake, you see the difference in every feature. Solid, well put together. It's on the heavy side, but if I only got to take one rake with me on a desert island, this would be the rake.

I have 23 acres and rake a lot of debris. This is not a leaf rake but you can use it for that. It is a heavy duty rake. It is heavier than a regular rake and will work you out. I am 64 and in good shape so I don't mind it. I rake a lot of fallen limb debris and the tines are rigid and make it easier to rake the small stuff. Great rake. I just took it for a test run today. Let's see how it holds up after a few months of hard work.

Seems built to last. Good weight to it, if this is what you're looking for in a rake. I wanted one that would last, and that could stand up to heavy use.Makes a considerable metal vibration noise during use.

The beefiest, most well-built and sturdiest rake I have ever owned. My last leaf rake lasted me 23 years, and was not built anywhere near as well as the Bully Tools Leaf & Thatching rake, so I expect this rake to outlast me.It is a heavy, and thick-handled rake, so not for small hands or arms that aren't used to working, but for able-bodied individuals, this is one heck of a good rake.I raked the thatch from my lawns over a two-day period just after receiving the rake, and it did an excellent job, including making easy work of the edged along concrete curbing, where the old spring-tooth rake wasn't as good.

Great rake for heavy duty work and thatching. A bit heavy for common leaf raking....it will wear you out for that purpose. Solid USA construction that has a place in your multiple rake collection. If you only need one, pick a lighter one but trust me, a heavy duty one has its place to clear around shrubs, raking heavy thatched grass, and standing up to years and years of use!
