I use this for a wide variety of yard and asphalt projects. So far it is unbreakable. I am not trying to break it, but it is excellent, as it is used by many in my family. I wish it was larger, 12 X 12 or 14 X 14.Yes I would re-buy this again. :-)

I needed a heavy duty tamper to compact 3/4" crushed washed limestone for a shed foundation. Not only is this tool made in the USA, it is heavy thick steel and compacts the limestone perfectly. I highly recommend Bully Tools for heavy duty, tough jobs where cheap imitations won't cut it.

A tamper is such a simple item that it's almost hard to write a review that's longer than a sentence or two. The Bully Tools tamper works perfectly. I like that the working end is a steel plate instead of cast iron. It seems like it would be less likely to crack or dent. The handle is a steel pipe with a red rubber grip at the end. The welding on the braces and handle all look good and the handle is straight and square to the plate. Everything is evenly painted. This tool is made in the USA, which is nice.

First package the handle was bent from shipping, after I informed the seller they had gone well well well above my expectations and they packaged a second tool (tamp) and took every possible step to eliminate the damage from shipping the second time around and sure enough it came packaged in a nice fluffy wrapping of a box secured with great bubble wrap. I mean these guys went to school for packaging I swear to you. Got it out, and the weld joints are super thick and hefty. The unit has a great weight to it and nice large profile. Highly recommend this tool line based on this purchase and the seller standing by their products! You can't go wrong here.

This was what I needed and mostly what I expected. There was a small quality issue on the flat side of stamper.. the company responded quickly but did not replace. For my purpose I did not press the issue. I could still use it. It was just not perfect. It was heavy enough. Sturdy and it tolerated 100 feet of stamping gravel just fine.
