Fit Your Burco Redi-Cuts over your Broken Mirror
STEP 1: REMOVE LOOSE PIECES
The broken mirror is to remain in the backing plate. Remove loose or protruding pieces with a putty knife or screwdriver.
STEP 2: TEST FIT
Dry fit (test fit) mirror replacement by placing over existing broken mirror to check proper fit. Be sure to align signal etching.
STEP 3: CLEAN
For proper adhesion, make sure surfaces are clean and free of dirt or debris
STEP 4: APPLY ADHESIVE
Apply Burco Redi Stick adhesive patches to the broken mirror or mirror replacement. Use care not to cover signal laser etching
TIP: Install in a warm/dry environment.
TIP: In addition to adhesive patches, you may use silicone or urethane for a secure hold.
STEP 5: INSTALL
Align and press mirror replacement to the broken mirror with firm yet gentle pressure. Make sure to align signal etching.
STEP 6: CLEAN UP
Clean your installed Redi-Cuts mirror replacement with glass cleaner
How to measure you mirror
Diagonal Redi-Cut Measurement
Measure your mirror's longest diagonal measurement. This mirror's longest measurement happens to be from the inside upper to outside lower.
Horizontal Redi-Cut Measurement
Measure your mirror glass. Measure horizontally from left mirror edge to right mirror edge.
Vertical Redi-Cuts Measurements
Measure your mirror glass. Measure vertically from top mirror edge to bottom mirror edge.

I purchased item #5385 to replace my 2014 Jetta's passenger side mirror. Amazon says it fits, and the package labeled says it fits 2009-2016 Volks, but they are wrong. Item relieved in a very nice package and looks really good. Unfortunately it does not fit 2014 Jetta.Note to manufacture... what's the right part number for 2014 Jetta SE.

Fits over the old glass mount. Could have had some additional adhesive circles. or just 1 big adhesive sheet covering the entire glass area. Initial quality good.

My other mirror glass just fell off while I was driving. I Imagine the adhesive just gave out. This replacement is an exact fit and installed in under 10 minutes. The provided double sided adhesive circles give a lot of coverage and also confidence that it will stay put.

Does not fit my Jetta model as advertised. I anticipate you'd likely need some more adhesives than what is provided.

Was very easy to install and is working so far. Installed on Volkswagen CC. The round sticky pads that were included with the mirror didn't seem like the right choice, so I used a different glue (Loctite Glass).I would dry fit it first (with masking or painters tape) just to make sure it will actually fit in your cars side mirror housing AND still have enough clearance around it. That way you are able to adjust your mirror without it touching or scraping the sides (which might break your new mirror)(I think it's possible that the glue that was used on my original car mirror failed because the adhesive wasn't good for heated mirrors.)
